On October 12 and 13, 2016, the 4th Theology Forum on Inculturation & Chinization of the Chinese Catholic Church which was organized by CCPA&BCCCC, was held in Beijing.
The opening ceremony was chaired by Bishop Yang Xiaoting, the vice president of BCCCC and the Deputy Rector of National Seminary. Bishop Ma Yinglin, the president of BCCCC and the Rector of National Seminary gave an opening statement at the Forum. Chen Zongrong, the deputy director general of State Administration for Religious Affairs of P.R.C. attended the opening ceremony, and delivered an important speech.  
First session chaiered by Mr. Tan lizhu, was themed by " Religious dialogue and the direction of Chinization of the reagions in China". Mr. Liu Jinguang, director of Magazine of Chinese Religion, Mr. Zhang Zhigang, director of the Centre for Cultural Research of Religion from the Beijing University, the Bishop Yang Xiaoting, vice president of the BCCCC, Mr. Gao Zhanfu, researcher of Education Committee of the Association of Islam have been invited and presented their opinions on the topics: " Religious Dialogue in the World Today”, "Religious Dialogue on Truth and Love", "Religious Dialogue in the Chinese Culture", and " Religious Dialogue in the Direction of Chinizatione in China”. After their speeches, there was a part of opening questions for audiences.
The Forum received thirty-one academic papers, on five themes: 1. The History of Inculturation & Chinization of the Chinese Catholic Church; 2. The Realistic Thoughts of Inculturation & Chinization of the Chinese Catholic Church; 3. The Culture and Theology of Religious Dialogue; 4. The Theory and Direction of Religious Dialogue; 5. The Religious Ways to the Love and Sacrifice.
The Forum ended on Oct. 13, and Bishop Yang Xiaoting presided over the closing ceremony. Fr. Zhao Jianmin, delivered a final speech. Some teachers, priests and the seminarians of the National Seminary also participated in the Forum.
