On June 20, 2016, a delegation of United Bible Society visited CCPA &BCCCC. The members of the delegation are Mr. Kua Wee Seng, the director of UBS China Partnership, Mr.Lee Tseun Yuen,the vice-chairman of Hongkong Bible Society, Hu Lichun and Zhang Yushan, the members of the department of UBS of China. They were warmly welcomed by Bishop Guo Jincai.
Bishop Guo Jincai gave a general introduction about accomplishments of the cooperation between the Catholic Church in China and United Bible Society in the past many years, and expectation in the future cooperation. Mr. Kua Wee Seng introduced their projects of Bible printing and Bible Promotion. Mr. Lee Tseun Yuen introduced the Catholic Bible revision works. Both sides have exchanged ideas and discussed possibilities of the future co-operation among UBS, UBS of HongKong, CCPA and BCCCC.
The delegation would go to visit the local Churches of Gansu and Sichuan, and have meetings with them on the issues of using and reading of the Bible.
