From August 31 to September 11, 2015, a delegation which consists of 17 religious superior generals from different convents around China: Hubei, Shandong, Sichuan, Gansu, Shaanxi provinces, was invited by Daegu Diocese of South Korea to pay a visit to the diocese.
Before their trip and after their back, Bishop Ma Yinglin, President of BCCCC, and Bishop Guo Jincai, Secretary General of BCCCC have welcome them and had meetings with them.
In their journey, the delegation visited Congregation of Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Benedictine Order of Tutzing and Sisters of St. Paul de Chartres. During their visit, they exchanged a lot of ideas and experiences about religious formations (postulant, novices, temporary-vows), and continue education after perpetual-vows, which includes histories of their own convents, apostolic missions, and institutes of consecrated life. They have also stayed with these convents to get experiences of different religious life.
The members of the delegation have benefited very much from this visitation, and been improved both in theory and in experience from the different levels. They are also ready to give their witnesses for the consecrated life and in the service of the Church.
