On April 14, 2015. The committee meeting of the council for the Laity of CCPA & BCCCC was held in Beijing. The leading members from 26 provinces and cities around the country attended the meeting.
The meeting was presided over by Bishop Fang Xingyao. Bishop Ma Yinglin delivered a keynote speech.
During the meeting, the participants gave speeches and shared their ideas on the issues of the mission of the laity in China. The whole discussion was presided over by Bishop Meng Qinglu and Mr. Liu Yuanlong(vice chairman and Secretary General of CCPA).
Wu Xiaohua from Jiangxi province, Wang Huaimao from Sichuan province, Zhou Yongzhi from Heilongjiang province, Chen Jian from Beijing, Lin Guozhen from Guangdong province, Shi Xueqin from Fujian province, Sun Ming from Sahndong province, Xiong Minglong from Jiangsu province, Huang Side from Guangxi province, Xu Yuying from Shanghai, Hu Liangchun from Chongqing, Zhang Zhixian from Inner Mongolia, Jia Shanjun from Zhejiang province, Fr.Ding Changyong from Jilin province, Fr. Qiao Jingang from Hubei province, Fr. Zhang Yinlin from Henan province, Fr. Zhang Dexin from Anhui province, Fr. Wang Xueling from Tianjin, Wang Jianming from Shaanxi province, Li Guangming from Ningxia province, Tao Ning from Hainan province, Han Jing from Gansu province, and Song Yun from Hebei province participated in the meeting and gave speeches.
The meeting examined and passed the Statement of the Council for the Laity.
Wang Zhigang from United Front Work Department of CCCPC, Guo Wei、Wang Tao from State Administration for Religious Affairs, Bishop Guo Jincai, Shu Nanwu(vice chairman of CCPA) and Fr.Yang Yu were present at the the meeting, and other directors of departments of CCPA and BCCCC attended the meeting.
